IIIT Allahabad is a deemed university established by Ministry of HRD,government of india under sec 3 of UGC act.IIITA started its 4 year B.Tech course in 1999 in Information Technology followed with Electronics & Communications in 2006. Entrance to these courses is through the All-India Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE. Its greatest strength is its adaptability to the changing industry requirements.
